Private Residence
2006 - Tilsley + Associates Architects
This 19th century rowhouse had been subdivided and seen two unsympathetic renovations prior to being purchased by a newlywed couple who realized its potential. Originally a simple interior renovation, the scope increased tenfold. My role was to work directly with the client to translate their programmatic needs, offer solutions, and develop multiple design schemes for their review and approval. Upon the start of construction documents, the project was handed off to another member of the firm, but my initial designs were largely realized.
